WHY TRINITY?

TOP TEN REASONS TO ENROLL YOUR CHILD AT TRINITY

We value academic excellence intertwined with core Christian values. Our nurturing environment fosters intellectual growth, character development, and spiritual enrichment. By enrolling your child at Trinity, you provide them an opportunity to thrive academically, morally, and socially, preparing them for a fulfilling, responsible life ahead. Below you can find our Top 10 Reasons you should enroll your child at TLS!

10. TOP NOTCH ACADEMICS – On standardized tests, our students consistently score at and above average. This year’s 8th Graders scored better than 71% of 8th Graders nationwide in Reading, 72% in Language Arts, and 62% in Mathematics, all above average for their grade level.

9. STUDENTS LOVE TRINITY – Any visit to our campus quickly shows how much our students love their school. The joy on their faces, the excitement in their activities, the energy in their classroom discussions - it all points to how much they value Trinity. They love their teachers, their classmates, the field trips, music, art, athletics, and sense of family.

8. PARENTS LOVE TRINITY – Parents choose to be involved in our school. They help in the classroom, work concessions at basketball games, chaperone field trips, and participate in fundraising. They remain our number one source for promoting the school within the community, sharing their Trinity experience with friends, family, and co-workers.

7. PRESCHOOL PREPARATION – Preschool is at the foundation for a child’s education, social skills, and faith life. Half-day preschool programs are available in the mornings and afternoons meeting the needs of 3 and 4-year-olds. Our Christ-centered preschool program helps children fall in love with learning while being surrounded by the love of our Savior.

6. AFFORDABLE TUITION – People comment how reasonably priced Trinity tuition is compared to other quality Christian schools in our area. A child can attend for $2175 annually, or just $41 per week (based on a 52-week division of the annual tuition).

5. TUITION ASSISTANCE – We strive to ensure that cost doesn’t interfere with a parent’s desire to give their child the gift of a lifetime, an excellent Christ-centered education that prepares them for life in the world today as well as eternal life. If a family qualifies for need-based tuition assistance, up to 75% of tuition may be covered by a grant.

4. OUTSTANDING TEACHERS – Our professional educators are fully qualified and thoroughly educated. They all have years of experience in Christian education, and have demonstrated their commitment and passion to sharing Christian faith and values with children and families while passing on their lifelong love for learning.

3. SMALL CLASS SIZE – Small class sizes at all grade levels allow students to receive excellent attention and care, with teachers able to adjust learning to the child’s needs. We maintain a 10-1 student-teacher ratio for preschool. The average class size for K-8 is 15 students, with maximum capacity for Kindergarten at 20 students, and 1st through 8th at 24 students.

2. CURRICULUM – Our curriculum exceeds the State of Minnesota objectives in each subject area. As we review and assess annually, adjustments are made to continually better the programming. A comprehensive approach to education at Trinity also includes faith instruction, physical education, technology, music (general, vocal, and instrumental), Spanish, and art.

1. We are Christ-Centered!

We believe the Bible is the completely accurate and true Word of God. We believe we have salvation and eternal life through faith alone, by the grace of God and not by anything we have earned or accomplished for ourselves. We believe in Jesus Christ as our Savior, the Lord of our lives. These core beliefs impact and influence every aspect of our school. Our School Mission Statement says it clearly: Trinity Lutheran Church and School form one community of faith for the purpose of making disciples of Jesus Christ through a faithful Word and Sacrament Ministry.
