SUPPORT TRINITY

HELP TRINITY FULFILL ITS MISSION

At Trinity, we rely on the generosity of our community to provide the best education possible for our students. One simple and effective way to support our school is through the use of Scrip programs. By purchasing gift cards for everyday purchases, a percentage of each transaction goes directly to our school. Your support through Scrip is greatly appreciated and helps us to continue providing a Christ-centered education to our students.

The RaiseRight (formerly SCRIP) Program

This program allows you to purchases gift cards and gift certificates from area businesses at a reduced rate and sells them to you at face value. You get a dollar for dollar return on your purchases while at the same time financially supporting Trinity Lutheran School. You can use the gift cards and certificates for your everyday shopping; groceries, dining out, gasoline, movie going, etc..... and they also make great gifts!

Question: What is RaiseRight?
Answer: RaiseRight is a term which means “substitute money”. Instead of using cash to pay for your purchases at area businesses, you are using a pre-paid gift card or gift certificate.

Question: How does RaiseRight work?
Answer: The Scrip program buys gift cards from area businesses at a discount and sells them to you at face value. The difference between the face value and the discounted purchase price becomes revenue for Trinity Lutheran School. For example, Scrip buys a $25 gift card from McDonalds for $22.50, (at a 10% discount.) When you buy that Scrip gift card for $25, Trinity Lutheran School gets to keep the $2.50 profit.  You can chose to have $1.25 (50% of the profit) applied to your school tuition.

Question: Who can buy RaiseRight?
Answer: Everyone! Trinity Lutheran School families, Trinity Lutheran Church members, extended family and friends and the community in general can all help support Trinity Lutheran School by purchasing Scrip from us.

Question: Where and when can I buy RaiseRight?
Answer:  Scrip gift cards can be purchased at Trinity Lutheran School during school hours. Scrip gift cards can be purchased at special events taking place at both Trinity Lutheran School and Trinity Lutheran Church. Watch for our booth!

FUNDRAISER EVENTS

Butter Braid Sales

Starting right at registration, families have an opportunity to help raise funds for our teachers to attend the Lutheran Education Association convocation every other year. Our teachers enjoy being able to attend and butter braids are so delicious! Students can sell directly or there is also an online option set up for our school. Sales run from August 8-September 5, 2023!

Fun Run

A great event we hold each September (Sept 22nd this year) to get students involved for their school! This is the only fundraiser the students do that directly benefits the school. The kids ask for donations based upon pledging per lap the student will run OR as whole dollar amounts. Donors can donate directly in person OR we have a way to donate online.  We have a new theme every year and competition for each class to try to raise the most money. There are tiered goals for the amount of money raised for each student with the prizes for reaching each tier spread out throughout the school year. On the day of the event, a course is set up and kids run laps at their own pace, have fun with friends, there is a DJ or music, photo ops, and a concessions stand of treats and snacks provided by PTL. The PTL gives each student a water bottle and we encourage hydration and fun! We encourage families to come join and watch the kids run around the designated course on event day. We start the fun at 12:45. There is always a great turn out and the kids have a blast!

PTL Brunch & Silent Auction

The PTL Brunch is a fantastic way we kick off our Lutheran School’s Week celebration! There is great food, volunteer opportunities, as well as a HUGE silent auction. So you can fill your soul with the children’s choirs at a church service, fill your belly with a delicious brunch and check out all the amazing donations at the silent auction, set up around the Discipling Center. All the proceeds from the Free Will offering go to PTL, who do many great things for our students and teachers and the proceeds from the Silent Auction go towards keeping our school thriving and providing an amazing Christian education for our community. We look forward to this every year. What also starts that week is a Bookfair for the students! The Lutheran School’s week is a great way for the kids to celebrate how special it is to be a part of a Lutheran school and a great way to show how the church and school work together to keep this education opportunity available.
