NWEA MAP Testing
NWEA Measures of Academic Progress® (MAP®) Testing for grades K-8 will take place April 27-May 8. The best way to prepare for MAP testing is to make sure your child gets a good night’s sleep and eats breakfast.
Through this process, we will get a better idea of what the students know. This results in a rewarding experience for the student, and a wealth of detailed information for teachers, parents, and administrators.
MAP Testing presents students with engaging, age-appropriate content. As a student responds to questions, the test responds to the student, adjusting up or down in difficulty. As students answer a question correctly, they get a question of higher difficulty. If the students do not correctly answer the question, the next question will be a little lower in difficulty.
Grandparents Day
Join us for a mini concert, small excerpts from the end of the year coming in May, just for the Grandparent’s viewing and hearing pleasure! Grandparents are then invited to come to the school after their mini concert and check out their grandchild’s classroom and get their own viewing of our very own Living Wax Museum, put on by the 3rd-8th Grade. K-2 grades will be doing a project with their grandparents and then viewing the wax museum as well.
